Maria Baldauf currently works as a contractor with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s National Center for Environmental Research, where she conducts research about the implications of global climate change on society, sustainability and environmental justice, and communicates the results through a variety of media.
Previously, she has worked in the civil society, government and private sectors, including with Ashoka: Innovators for the Public, the Lance Armstrong Foundation, the Office of Congressman Jim Moran, the U.S. Department of State, Edelman, Public Strategies, Georgetown’s Center for Public and Nonprofit Leadership, and the Earth Day Network.
Maria has a Master of Public Policy in international policy and development from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Texas at Austin.
When not working, she enjoys cycling, hiking, kayaking, rowing, volunteering, cooking, listening to jazz in the sculpture garden and at HR-57, and more!
